Manchester United set to unviel Benjamin Seško at Old Trafford on Saturday August 9, 2025
Slovenian striker, Benjamin Seško is set to be unveiled at Old Trafford today, when they face Italian side, Fiorentina, for the Snapdragon Cup, and Manchester United’s last preseason game.
Manchester United beat Newcastle to the signing of Seško, even after offering more financial benefits. Benjamin Seško chose to sign for Manchester United ahead of Newcastle United. A deal of €76.5m plus €8.5m in achievable add ons, was the fee agreed between RB Leipzig and Manchester United to make the deal happen.
One factor that was instrumental in the player’s decision, is Christopher Vivell, who was a former director at RB Leipzig, who engineered his move from RB Salzburg. The director also hold high regards and belief in the striker and believes he is one that’s destined to achieve a lot of great things.
The striker, traveled to Manchester on Thursday evening, after the two clubs agreed on the deal to make it happen. Seško has undergone his medicals at Manchester United, signed his contract and completed all his media obligations, ahead of today’s big unveiling at Old Trafford.
The signing of this striker is one that has been very much welcomed by the fans and all well-wishers of the club. Therefore, there is no shred of doubt that the unveiling is one that will bring lots of smiles and joy to the Old Trafford outfit.
